Because your party guests deserve the best.

1. Hummus Deviled Eggs & Cucumber Bites

We’re all about healthy twists on recipes (as long as they don’t compromise flavor, that is!) and these deviled eggs will have you saying good bye mayo, hello hummus. So lighten up this classic BBQ snack and use the remaining hummus in these 5 ingredient cucumber bites.  Warning, these pop ’ems will be the first thing to disappear at your party.

2. Watermelon Feta Pesto Skewers

Chocolate covered pretzels no longer satiate our sweet and salty cravings… we’re all about sweet watermelon, salty feta (crumbled or cubed) and fresh pesto.  And since Labor Day is one of the last weekends of the year that you’ll have juicy watermelon available at the grocery store, we suggest you take advantage and make this refreshing snack.

3. Zoodle ‘Pasta’ Salad

If traditional pasta salad is not your thing, give this veggie version a try.  It couldn’t be easier to make given that you don’t even have to cook the zucchini noodles.  The raw spiralized zoodles add a nice crunch and can stands up to the hearty summer veggies and creamy roasted red pepper hummus dressing.

4. Pesto Turkey Burger Sliders

Need something that will please even your pickiest guest?  These paleo, gluten-free, turkey burger sliders served on sweet potato buns are just that.  By mixing basil pesto into the meat before grilling, you get next level flavor.  But be warned, you can’t just top these babies with ketchup, they deserve something special like pesto guacamole.

5. Grilled Chicken Kabobs

Grilled kabobs are the perfect main dish to serve at your party.  They are individually portioned, customizable, and just plain fun to eat.  This recipe features chicken, but feel free to use any protein or vegetables of your choice.  Pro trip: if using wood skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before hitting the flames.
